Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Robust Invest mobile application ("Application"), developed by Maverick Roux.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By downloading, accessing or using Robust Invest, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must stop using the Application.

2. Description of the Service

Robust Invest provides tools designed to help users analyze publicly traded companies based on their financial fundamentals for long-term investing.

The Application may include:

• Financial indicators
• Fundamental analysis
• Company ratings and scores
• Historical financial information
• CSV exports
• AI-generated descriptions of indicators, scores and competitive advantage (see Section 6)
• Premium features available through subscriptions

3. User Accounts

Some features require the creation of an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities occurring under your account.

4. Subscription

Certain features of Robust Invest require an active subscription. Available plans, pricing, billing periods, renewal terms and included features are displayed within the Application and on the applicable App Store before purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled through your Apple App Store or Google Play account before the renewal date.

Payments are processed exclusively by Apple or Google. Robust Invest does not collect or store payment information.

5. Informational Purpose Only

The information, analyses, scores, rankings and financial indicators provided by Robust Invest are for informational and educational purposes only.

Nothing contained in the Application constitutes:

• Investment advice
• Financial advice
• Tax advice
• Legal advice
• A recommendation to buy, sell or hold any financial instrument

Users remain solely responsible for their own investment decisions.

6. Use of Artificial Intelligence

The Application uses third-party artificial intelligence services ("AI") in a strictly limited and ancillary role, for two purposes only:

• Describing indicators and scores. Putting into words the financial indicators and the scores that have already been calculated by the Application's own deterministic methodology.
• Describing competitive advantage. Producing a qualitative description of a company's competitive positioning ("moat") from publicly available information.

6.1 The AI does not produce the scores

The scores, ratings, medals and rankings displayed in the Application are calculated by our own deterministic methodology. The AI does not compute, alter, weight, rank or influence any score or rating. It only rephrases results that already exist. Its output is descriptive commentary, never a calculation.

6.2 No conversational assistant

The AI is not an interactive assistant and not a chatbot. Users cannot converse with it, send it free-form text, submit their own prompts, ask it questions, or instruct it in any way. AI-generated text is produced only when the user explicitly requests a description of an already-displayed analysis, from a fixed, predefined template controlled entirely by us. There is no user-supplied input channel to the AI.

6.3 No investment advice

The AI does not provide investment, financial, tax or legal advice, and does not issue recommendations to buy, sell or hold any financial instrument. All AI-generated content is provided for informational and educational purposes only and is subject, in full, to Section 5 (Informational Purpose Only) of these Terms.

6.4 Limitations of AI-generated content

AI-generated text is produced automatically, without human review prior to display. Like all generative systems, it may contain errors, omissions, imprecise formulations, outdated information or statements that do not accurately reflect reality. AI output is non-deterministic: the same request may produce different wording at different times.

We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, reliability, timeliness or suitability of AI-generated content. Users must not rely on it as a sole basis for any decision and are strongly encouraged to verify any statement against the underlying financial data and independent sources.

6.5 Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Maverick Roux shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from AI-generated content, including inaccurate, incomplete or misleading descriptions, or from any decision taken on the basis of such content. Users acknowledge that AI-generated descriptions are an illustrative convenience and that all investment decisions remain made entirely at their own risk. Section 12 (Limitation of Liability) applies in full to AI-generated content.

6.6 Third-party processing

Generating this content requires sending data to third-party AI providers, which may process it outside the European Union. Only non-personal, company-related data (such as a stock ticker, sector and already-computed scores) is transmitted. No personal data, account information or user-identifying information is ever sent to these providers. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Accuracy of Information

Financial data is obtained from third-party sources and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, delays or errors.

Although we strive to provide reliable information, we make no warranty regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability or availability of any data displayed within the Application.

Users are strongly encouraged to verify financial information using multiple independent sources before making investment decisions.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Robust Invest only for lawful and personal purposes.

You agree not to:

• Copy or reproduce the Application's content on a large scale;
• Redistribute financial analyses, ratings or exported data without authorization;
• Sell, sublicense or commercially exploit any data obtained through the Application;
• Use automated tools, bots, crawlers or scraping software to extract data;
• Attempt to reverse engineer or replicate the scoring methodology or proprietary algorithms;
• Create or operate a competing product or service using data or analyses obtained from Robust Invest;
• Interfere with the proper functioning or security of the Application.

9. Intellectual Property

The Application, including but not limited to its software, design, interface, logos, analyses, scoring methodology, algorithms, visualizations, databases, text and graphics, is protected by intellectual property laws.

Unless expressly permitted by law or by prior written authorization, no part of the Application may be copied, modified, distributed, published, resold or otherwise exploited.

The financial scoring methodology, investment analyses and proprietary calculations developed for Robust Invest remain the exclusive intellectual property of Maverick Roux.

10. Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict or permanently terminate access to the Application without prior notice if a user violates these Terms or engages in abusive, fraudulent or unauthorized use.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Robust Invest disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maverick Roux shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or financial damages resulting from:

• The use or inability to use the Application;
• Errors or inaccuracies in financial data;
• Errors, omissions or inaccuracies in AI-generated content;
• Investment decisions made based on information provided by the Application;
• Service interruptions or technical issues.

Users acknowledge that all investment decisions are made entirely at their own risk.

13. Privacy

Your use of the Application is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Application after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles.
